Fairy Meadows is in the heart of exotic North Pakistan, It is located at the base of Nanga Parbat, which, at 8126 m, is the 9th highest mountain in the world and second in Pakistan after K2.
Nanga Parbat is also called the Killer Mountain and locals call it Daimoryi, which is the end of Himalaya. The meadows are lush green alpine pastures situated in the middle of a pine forest at an altitude of 3,306 m. The meadows have been a thrilling destination for polo lovers, spending couple of days here, having a touch of real adventure. Fairy Meadows has been a source of enchantment since long for back packers, climbers, wildlife researchers, photographers, painters geologists, besides nature lovers. The pine forests skirting Fairy Meadows are perhaps one of the virgin forests in the north of Pakistan, and are home to a number of species of birds and wildlife. The site overlooks the Raikot Glacier and provides a majestic view of the North Face of Nanga Parbat, commonly known as the Raikot Face.
Rakaposhi is the crown jewel of the beauty of Nagar and Hunza valley. It is present inNagar valley and majestic views stun every eye that falls upon Rakaposhi.Treks in these valleys, seldom on trekkers itineraries, are readily accessible by road with mostly easy trails and superb views. This treks tends to be the easiest and is a hot favourite of new comers. Apart from the trek itself, splendid drive on the Karakoram Highway gives you the best opportunity to explore Pakistan's mighty mountains. Karimabad is a delightful town perched high to offer stunning views of the Hunza valley. We have a full day here for rest, acclimatization and sightseeing. All the fields in Hunza are watered by an extensive irrigation system and there some good walks along these water channels. It will be the apricot season and everyone will be picking and drying the new crop. The whitewashed Baltit Fort, once the home of the ruling Mir, guards the valley and is now a museum. Even more dramatic is Altit Fort, perched above a sheer drop to the Hunza River.
This stunning trek goes along the Batura Glaciers. Patundas is a summer pasture with an altitude of above 4000 meters. The villagers of Ghulkin take there cattle to this green pasture from June to August. The fascinating view of Passu Peak 7284m, Batura Peak 7500m, Shishper 7619m, Dasteghil Sar 7885, Momhil Sar 7342 and Rakaposhi with the height of 7788m all around you. The trek starts at Borit Lake and goes through Passugar, Luzhdar and Patundas and along the glaciers. This is an easy and short trek recommended for all ages and does not require any good physical condition.

treks Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive at Islamabad airport & transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 Drive to Chilas 11-12 hours on Karakoram high way.
Day 3

Drive to Raikot Bridge, jeep transfer to Tato village & 2-3 hours
trek to Fairy Meadows.

Day 4

Full day excursion to Nanga Parbat base camp & return trek to
beyal camp.

Day 5 Trek down to Tato village 2 hours, jeep transfer to Raikot Bridge
& continue drive to minapin 5-6 hours.
Day 6 Trek to Hapakun.
Day 7

Trek to Tagaphari along the Minapin.

Day 8

Morning excursion to Diran peak base camp, after lunch trek back
to Hapakun for overnight.

Day 9 Trek down to Minapin 3 hours & drive to Karimabad.
Day 10

Drive to Gulmit.

Day 11

Trek to Passu ghar.

Day 12

Trek to Luzdher ( 3-4 hours) 4000 meters.

Day 13 Trek to Patundass Pass ( 4-5 hours) 4500 meters.
Day 14 Trek down to Batura glacier, after lunch continue trek to Passu
Bridge  kkh & drive to Gulmit.
Day 15 Morning drive to Karimabad & visit Baltit Fort & bazzar after
lunch drive to Duikar valley.
Day 16 Drive to Besham 8-10 hours.
Day 17

Drive to Islamabad 6-7 hours.

Day 18 Fly back Home.
